FOOTBALL FANS IN TRAINING

Get FFIT with The St Johnstone Community Trust

In partnership with The SPFL Trust, the Football Fans In Training (FFIT) programme is a free 13-week healthy living and weight loss course designed to help you become more active, lose weight, get fitter and improve your general health.

Each course combines classroom learning on topics such as weight management, healthy eating, and alcohol awareness, with practical exercise sessions led by our qualified coaches.

The programme is open to men and women aged 35 to 65 years old with a waist size of 38 inches or more. Typically, we run two programmes each year, giving participants a structured, supportive environment to achieve lasting lifestyle changes.

The main aims of the programme are to:

  • increase knowledge of diet & nutrition
  • improve lifestyle choices
  • increase physical activity amongst participants
  • reduce weight and waist measurements
  • increase engagement in other physical activity 
 
Women's Programme: Starts 22nd September. Concludes 15th December 2025.

Prostate FFIT

The unique Prostate Football Fans in Training is delivered in partnership Prostate Scotland and The SPFL Trust. The Prostate FFIT programme is open to all men affected by prostate cancer and is a great opportunity to meet men in a similar situation, to share experiences and improve fitness levels.

The 13 week course provides a great opportunity to meet others, share experiences & improve fitness levels.
