TRUST WELCOMES NEW CEO

We’re delighted to welcome Lesley Carcary as our new Chief Executive Officer, as Saints in the Community celebrates 10 years of supporting communities across Perth & Kinross.

Lesley brings more than 21 years of experience in the third sector, including over a decade in senior leadership roles. Most recently, she was Chief Executive Officer at Seescape, Fife’s leading provider of support services for people with visual impairment.

Throughout her career, Lesley has led charities, developed services and helped create opportunities that make a real difference to people and communities across Scotland.

Having been with Saints in the Community for the past three months, Lesley has already had the opportunity to see the impact of our work across Perth & Kinross and meet many of the people, partners and communities who make that work possible.

“It’s been a great first few months, and I’ve been struck by the breadth of work being delivered by such a small team. I’ve always known how much football means to local communities, but I’ve been amazed by how it can bring people through the door and connect them with support they might not otherwise access. I’m really looking forward to getting to know more of our communities and building on what Saints in the Community has achieved over the past 10 years.”

Lesley succeeds Eric Knox, who has retired following an interim period leading Saints in the Community. We’d like to thank Eric for his contribution to the charity and wish him a long and happy retirement.

As we look ahead, we’re excited to build on everything achieved over the past 10 years and continue creating positive opportunities for people and communities across Perth & Kinross.
