CEMENTING A LEGACY AT MCDIARMID PARK

Celebrating Donnie

Saints in the Community are delighted to announce that the first phase of the 'In With the Bricks' project has been officially unveiled at McDiarmid Park!

The very first tile placed honours lifelong supporter Donnie McPhee, who sadly passed away last year aged 93.

Donnie’s devotion to Saints was extraordinary - holding a season ticket for 72 consecutive years at Muirton Park and McDiarmid Park. His passion, warmth, and infectious smile made him a familiar and beloved figure to generations of supporters, and those at Saints in the Community.

It felt only fitting that Donnie, who truly embodied the heart and spirit of St Johnstone, leads the way. His tile now sits proudly within the newly installed display on the Ormond Stand, forming part of the first collection of supporter tiles now in place at the stadium.

Donnie’s wife Mary McPhee and son David McPhee visited McDiarmid Park to see the tile - a touching moment, celebrating a man whose love for the club left a lasting legacy.

The In With The Bricks initiative allows supporters to leave a lasting mark at McDiarmid Park. Tiles can be personalised for loved ones, special moments, or to simply show your connection to the club, and will become part of a permanent display at the stadium.

Applications for the next phase are now OPEN for those wishing to be included in the next installation. Full details, including pricing and inscription information, can be accessed here

Please note, a very limited number of tiles remain as part of the second phase.
