SIDEY ANNOUNCED AS CORPORATE SAINT

Danny Griffin and Fran Smith (back) of Saints in the Community, welcomed Haylee Lilley and Sarah Mackintosh (front) of Sidey to McDiarmid Park.

Last year, we welcomed Sidey to Saints in the Community as a new corporate sponsor!

Sidey is one of the UK’s largest and most experienced windows, doors, sunrooms, and conservatory specialists, and have been a market leader in the manufacture, supply, and installation of high-quality products since 1932.

The company take Corporate Social Responsibility and assisting in the communities they work in very seriously, evidenced by the ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Policy’ they have in place which supports them in their efforts as a socially and environmentally responsible business.

In the areas they work, Perth and Edinburgh, Sidey always looks to invest in local community-based projects and we’re excited to have them on board as the new sponsor of our Mental Health & Wellbeing ‘Inclusion Through Sport’ teams.

“We’re delighted to be able to support such a worthy cause. Mental Health is such a prominent issue and I think we have all been impacted at some point. Organisations like Saints in the Community provide invaluable support to communities”.

Our Mental Health & Wellbeing Football project supports local adults to participate in regular physical activity and provides opportunities to play in the national Scottish Mental Health & Wellbeing League. The project has been described as “life-saving” by attendees and was recognised as the Scottish FA East's 'Best Para-Football Project' in 2021. The Sidey logo now features on the match-day kits for both their recreational and competitive fixtures.

Each of our Corporate Saints are vital to the work of the Community Trust and provide support through in-kind service donations, sponsorship and partnership working.

Sarah and Haylee visited McDiarmid Park recently to chat with our staff and be gifted with our Corporate Saint award. Thank you for your ongoing support, Sidey!

If you are interested in supporting our work, please get in touch with our Marketing & Fundraising Manager, Rebekah Penman, at rebekah.penman@saintsinthecommunity.co.uk to discuss.

Be a saint in your community.
