TRUST WELCOME NEW CEO

Francis Smith is the new Chief Executive Officer of The St Johnstone Community Trust.

A former Scottish hurdler, Fran was the National Club Manager at Scottish Athletics and a Changing Lives Champion at Sport Scotland before taking up his new post.

Fran has experience as an operations manager and a business development executive. His knowledge within development and strategy combined with his passion for sport and the impact it can have within the community makes this an exciting appointment for the Community Trust.

The Trustees are delighted to welcome Fran on board. Chairman Roddy Ross said, "Fran really impressed with his experience and enthusiasm during interview and we really look forward to working with him in the future... Atholl has been a tremendous servant to Saints in the Community and he will be a hard act to follow."

Fran, and the Saints in the Community team, have ambitions to develop and grow and we look forward to sharing our aims and vision with you all soon.
