COMMUNITY DAY - MATCHWORN SHIRT AUCTION

Auction of signed St Johnstone memorabilia worn throughout the Trust’s recent Community Day.

The Saints in the Community online MatchWornShirts auction is now OPEN, and all funds raised will support the wide variety of projects the Trust deliver throughout Perth & Kinross.

March 30th welcomed the Big Community Day at the St Johnstone vs Dundee fixture at McDiarmid Park. The Community Day provided an opportunity to celebrate and showcase some of the fantastic work being carried out alongside helping to further highlight the Trust’s achievements. As part of this day, the St Johnstone first team players wore special one-off warm-up tops with our Saints in the Community logo front and centre and now you can grab one! We are delighted to share that we also have 5 matchworn and signed St. Johnstone home shirts from the day up for auction, perfect for any collection!

Signed, and with a MatchWornShirts certificate of authentication, bids are now open to get your hands on these unique pieces of memorabilia and take pride in supporting your local community.

Bids are on an open bidding process with the current winning bid visible for all with the winner of the specific auctioned item being the individual with the highest bid at the closing time set. Simply register for free on MatchWornShirts and place a bid on your favourite shirt(s). You will receive an email when you have been outbid or when you have won a shirt to keep you updated on the status of your bids!

MatchWornShirts also provides a framing service, giving winning bidders the chance to frame their unique memorabilia with personalised and custom options available!

The Community Day took place throughout our European Football for Development Network ‘MoreThanFootball’ campaign which, alongside fellow members across Europe, helps to shine a light into the social impact of football and the effect our community programmes and projects can have.

The Trust aims to build stronger communities through sport, education, and wellbeing to develop healthier, happier, and successful people. The activities delivered support children as young as 18 months old to adults aged over 100 years old.

Wearing white #MoreThanFootball t-shirts, we were able to welcome player escorts for the St Johnstone players which featured representatives from a variety of Community Trust programmes. The half-time showcase presented an opportunity to showcase the Saints in the Community, Girls Football project, with Girls from our sessions joining us on the pitch for short games before returning to the stands to watch the rest of the match.

Through the Wear Blue Day, bucket collection, scarf sales, raffle tickets and other donations made, the Community Trust has raised in excess of £3,000 so far - thank you to everyone who contributed!!

All funds raised will be put to good use throughout Perth & Kinross, going directly into maintaining, developing and creating projects which benefit the local community.

This is a charity fundraiser with multiple, signed St Johnstone memorabilia pieces up for grabs which would be perfect for any avid St Johnstone fan to get their hands on. We hope you get involved!
